Wonderful shapes and textures they show up well in black and white.
Very interesting capture-as Mandy says-the B&W really brings out the quality of the stump.
Love close-up portraits of animate, inanimate objects. Spectacular choice to use black-and-white(with real Zone System richness), and to include the blossoms. Something in the image make me think of Leonardo's man in a circle.
