As if you would want to dive from there, I certainly wouldn't! Lovely view down to the canal boat.
Sadly, people do - and they often die. It's about 30ft(10m) drop into very cold water with no easy way to get out unless you're Spider-Man.That's the same weir that had a U-Boat moored below it on April 1st...
The sign says, no diving. Obviously that is meant a challenge, right?
Anyone who tries needs their head read, but yes you so often hear of people who end their days with this sort of challenge!! Diane
