Martha, CTTB is in Talmage, just outside Ukiah, and is the home base for Chan Buddhist elementary and high schools, and Dharma Realm University. It is a practice center, with daily talks and meditation, many classes and conferences. My sister has been a nun with that group for nearly 45 years...
Now, I didn't know that Ukiah was the city of 10,000 Buddhas. I guess I should check it out for my Around California blog.
