Estancia Sunrise Torres del Paine Chile

  1. I was up all night because the howling wind was slamming into the rock walls of the small farmhouse we were hunkered down in to pass the blowing blasts. More than once that night it sounded like a freight train approaching and then hitting the farm building.
Living in this area is a brutal existence.
When the sun came up the wind calmed. I went outside where I saw the morning light paint the building as it woke up the world. In the background the much taller Andes Mountains were already lit.
This only lasted a few seconds. It was spectacular.
