We always see the rose photographed as a fresh cut, or newly opened blossom. I have always seen their photographic life to include the petals aging and changing to the wonderful tones they get when droop, drop, and dry.I like your photo.
Kim - their useful life continues beyond that too, as the hips ripen then begin to wrinkle - just like us! :-)That's a lovely piece of work.
