I like this, as seeing the wires is so American. In the UK all our services by and large are underground so we have no wires. And the wires are such a great bird stopping off place.
Wiring can be quite photogenic in the right place - if you can find your way into a server-farm the network cabling can be very attractive if they've made a neat job of it.
