Thanks everyone I just love how the true wild Poppies have integrated with the self seeded Californian ones that have also multiplied since we planted them.
Those California poppies do go bonkers over here; they self-seed so well they can become an invasive weed at this end of the country... I think they must enjoy the amount of rainfall we have?
Richard@ They have self seeded well here in Italy I suspect they have flourished as it is part of the garden we water well. I suspect that is why Diane's have all vanished too dry for them, she has not had rain for months!
Never saw them so yellow. Really sizzling image!
ReplyDeleteLove the red one demanding to be seen in the middle!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are so beautiful and my fav color, yellow! Welcome back! Glad your posting. Have a glorious week and thank you for the kind comments!
ReplyDeleteOh....very cool. So bright and warm and sunshiney. Gotta love the tenacity of their colours.
ReplyDeleteI love those yellow poppies, there were some in the garden here but they just seem to have gone AWOL!! Diane
