Those are beautiful. :-)Some miscreant has been in our garden and stolen the mature heads of ours, and several of the neighbours - but only from the poppies. :-(

Yes, what are they?! I've never seen anything quite like it before.
Mel, well I never planted these, I guess some bird planted it! We have amazing soil here, lots of self-seeding goes on. It's some kind of poppy, about 3' high, but I don't know which 'model'. I love the denseness of the flowers.
