My home town. I left Batheaston in 1953 to drive overland with my parents to Rhodesia so this brings back many memories, love it. http://www.great1953trek.nidi.org.uk/ Diane
My 'adopted' home town is Keynsham, so that's all part of my patch. Would you like me to photograph Batheaston for you as it is today, or would you rather remember it the way it was?
Richard I have seen it fairly recently but thanks for the offer - it has changed a lot!! My Mother's family come from around Keynsham, my Mum was born at Bethersden. I have done the complete family tree and have been to most of the places involved. Have a good day. Diane
Oh gosh--you'd think I'd remember all the places I wandered. *sigh* Not so much. But gosh, what a lovely piece of quiet with the softer colours and the beautiful walkway and road.
