  3. Richard it is very narrow and cobbled. It amazes me how many cars try to drive over when there is one coming the other way!! It can be done, but with only inches to spare!! I am not sure what year it is but I will try to find out. Diane

  6. I thought it might be older that that - maybe 13th century even?
    The arches look older than either the parapet or the passing-places... those look 15th century, so I wonder if the 15th century bridge was built over one from still earlier, a pack-horse bridge they 'recycled' during the building of the castle perhaps?
