Taking a strawberry out of its red "context" really makes me look at it freshly, examine it, not just think "strawberry" and, once it's identified, look away--which defines in a way just what photography DOES! Thanks.
Your strawberries are a fair way ahead of ours, most haven't even flowered yet here although a few in sheltered spots are just about ready to start setting fruit.
You've got some great detail in there, and the play of light upon the hairs is exquisite.
This is a brilliant photo. Your camera must be very much better than my super market special :-) Diane
ReplyDeletewhat happy promise you photographed there!
ReplyDeleteAnd so pretty, too.
(my mouth puckers involuntarily when i
think how tart they must still be!)

ReplyDeleteWow.
ReplyDeleteWe're so far away from that, it's scary. *sigh*
It's an excellent photo of the promise ahead. I needed that--berries or not around this joint.

Lots if detail here. Our strawberry plants still have the odd strawberry on them ...which is odd as it is late autumn here.
ReplyDeleteIt is great that you all enjoyed my viewpoint on this one, thanks!
