A Rose Apple Harvest

  1. Those look good... I like the way the colour fades towards the broad end as that gives you so many tones to work with - I wonder if I can find any of those for sale over here?

  3. Wikipedia tells me they don't taste at all like apple... which makes that idea all the more interesting.

  4. Oh wow--how cool are those?! I don't think we have 'em, but they're certainly photo worthy. Looks like a good harvest!

  5. I have eaten this fruit. I don't think it ships well. It tastes good. Never seen it outside of Asia. There are a lot of good edibles we never get to experience because they just don't store and ship well. All the more reason to go there!

  7. Hi fellow-BW contributors - wow, thanks for your comments. These are from my backyard, and I posted on them in my garden blog, so if you fellas want to read more about them you could check that out. Kimba is correct, they don't last long enough to be shipped for export. You have to come to Asia!
