Okay....I'm gonna biggify this and stare for a while.
Yep--definitely moist. But I like the peaceful feel of the photo. The colours. The texture. The bit of new growth peeking into the corner with the licheny stuff doing what it does.
I have a lovely piece of yellow lichen that blew of my shed roof drying on a shelf - I'll have some macro fun with that in a few days once it's completely rigid.

Definitely a keeper of a photo, Jorge.
It's on palm trees
ReplyDeleteGlad you said it was a tree, as wasn't sure whetherit was lichen or rust on an old bit of metal. Lovely muted colours swirling into one another.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully captured Jorge... I love lichen.

Pastel with beautiful colour tones. :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously--I was imagining boulders in the forest. LOL Shows what I know!
ReplyDeleteI really like this one.
And I'll look forward to Richard's 'fun with macro' shot.
Thanks guys, sounds like a fun theme for our beautiful blog.
