A belated "place" post! I've been exploring all the side roads, frontage roads, walking trails in my area and falling in love with what I see now as my little "mountain town." It has deepened my sense of "home," and I feel rooted, in a good way, for the first time in years! This scene is less than a mile from my house on the tiny dirt road that goes to our little airport.

Dirt roads are a love of mine.
We have our share here.....but never enough.
