Would you believe that's barely 50 yards from a big sea-lock that's the entrance to a busy marina? Despite that, it really is as peaceful as it looks. :-)
I know a spot just like that on Lake Erie, where my family vacationed. It brought back all my childhood memories of our vacations there, when my father took us to that very spot to watch the storms come in across the lake, in thunder and lightning, while Mother worried in the cabin!! We went back to join her, drenched and quivering and utterly happy! Thanks, R.
