  1. This very 'retro' styled shot of 'The Matthew' in the floating harbour, Bristol, is intended to represent an area rather than just this specific place... the area around Keynsham including the cities of Bristol & Bath.
When I moved down here from the midlands almost a decade ago, I suddenly felt like I was home... there's a special kind of magic about the place and people, and I love it...

  2. A timeless image, with etching overtones. Beautiful.

  3. Great work, I like the processing. Places like this make the foreigner feel at home.

  4. It's shot with Kodak BW400CN film - you treat it just like any normal monochrome film while it's in the camera, but you can put it through standard c41 colour processing, it's lovely stuff to work with and available as 35mm or 120

I can see how it felt like you'd gone home.

I understand what your saying i have such a yearning for Devon. Couldn't sell my house last year so will now wait a while but I will get there.Even though I live in a beauitful part of the world Devon calls me.

  7. I'm quite old enough, Mandy, thank you very much! *poke*

If you want to give *your* age away, you'll own up to owning a copy of the album 'Keynsham' by the 'Bonzo Dog Band'... and still playing it. ;-)
