Wow. I can't imagine being able to live in a foreign country. I did live in Japan from 1953 thru 1956 but was a soldier then and that was the Occupation. It is totally different there now.
Enough to come for a second look around. The column on the bridge is awesome. And I keep squinting trying to decide if this pattern with the tiles repeats through all the surrounding architecture. I'm wow-ed! Very very awesome!!!!
