A place to see my world
Ummmmmm.....*laughing* You're the mastermind, dangit. I can barely keep up with colours!k....how about descriptive words like 'peaceful', 'restive', 'busy' and 'soft'....It still leaves lots of room for interpretation and creativity maybe? Is that what you're askin'?
journey. stillness. the surreal in nature. still life. tree. secret place. river. a "painterly" photograph. a photograph inspired by a word (or a phrase or a couple lines of a poem or a saying) and that text. I love the color series. Maybe interrupt with something else and then go back to more colors? Themed Thursday offers a real challenge, no matter what the assignment!
Themes are good, as suggested above. But keep them broad, with a low difficulty level. If the homework's too hard, I let my dog eat it.
Haha I'm with Laura on the 'too difficult' issue.I like Mel's and Gail's suggestions.
I'll go with the flow. :))
Various materials? Wrought iron? Bronce, copper? Themes like shadow, light, water, sun, fruits and veggies!
I will happily go with the flow, but we must be careful to remember the name of the blog is Beautiful World, even if beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
I'm happy to go with the flow, and it would be good to keep going with the colours for now. But I think there's plenty of potential for similar kinds of simple (but good) themes - seasons, night/day, different types of weather etc; landscape, abstract, verticals (or horizontals or diagonals), photographs that were happy accidents, combinations of colours...Just a few suggestions anyway, to add to the ones already made.
All ideas above are good - am happy to go with the flow. I appreciate you having this blog Mandy for all of us to enjoy and take part in.
So far, so good for me. I find myself thinking through the week about what may work. I enjoy the challenge, though I am definitely with the "keep it simple" group! Love it. Awesome group of photographers!
I agree with Lindy, the themes are fine but yes it is Beautiful World. Diane
