Yes, Zan, it holds tropic fruits which on stage stage where still very very rare. It is handmade in the royale porcelaine manafuctury in Munich, at teh Castle Nymphenburg. it is still in place, however by now it is mostly the American and Japonese tourists buying this extremely expensive handmade stuff. They get cleaned once a week with a fine brush via a long latter!

You'd spend all night snuffing them out. OHmygosh....LOL Oh, but in the right surroundings--lovely. LOOK at that ceiling!
