A very early start to the day to catch the low tide for mussel collection which means freshly steamed mussels and mussel fritters later on in the day! What could be better. This is Mussel Point Beach.
Love the beach! Not so much the mussles though but I have tried and all I got between my teeth was sand and sea salt.. :D But the beach, now there I would love to be..
Lovely photo. I love strolling on the beach at low tide. Marvellous.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day, Boonsong
k....I'd love a stroll there, even at that hour. Especially at that hour.
ReplyDeleteBut. LOL Ain't eatin' no sea critters and you can't make me. ;-)
What a gorgeous place and an awesome capture.
OMG I love mussels and am most jealous that you get to collect them in such a gorgeous spot!
ReplyDeleteLOL at Mel's comment!

Forget the mussels but to walk there in the in the lapping waters edge hearing those waves come in, now that would be bliss.

I looked at the next photo first and my comment still stands :)
ReplyDeleteI also looked at the other photo first, but as I love mussels, yummy, I could happily combine the walk and collecting the mussels. Diane
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful part of the world you live in, Marilyn. And you capture it brilliantly.
