Mt Taranaki, also known as Mt Egmont, is surrounded by farmland and one one side is very close to the sea. I will post other views of this mountain from time to time.

Thanks for your lovely comments - and yes there is something really odd about the comments just now with not showing etc. I love this mountain as I have so many happy memories associated with it starting from when my parents used to take me when I was a child right through to the present time - it has been large in my life in many ways - plus I think it's beautiful with or without snow.
