The Russian River Rose Farm produces some pretty spectacular Iris. It makes me think of an evening gown. Something strapless, or maybe thin little spaghetti straps. Mainly, long billowing, layers of white chiffon tinged with hints of purple. Something, I'm sure Princess Di might have worn.
Stunning!
I yearn for a garden full of Irises. Just what, I ask, is the correct plural of Iris?
Whoops! I just read the instructions (!) and must apologize for my commas! No more. Ever again. xoxoLC

Love your shots. The vineyards look gorgeous and peaceful. And the iris looks so frilly - the color is marvellous!
ReplyDeleteWe also had a very wet and long winter/spring! My favourite is the iris.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to you!
ReplyDeleteAnd wow--makes me wanna take an early morning wander through the vines.
Gorgeous--all of them! :-)
