  3. Thank you Fire Byrd and Diane :) Thus far (this winter) this is one of my favorite shots. It came out so stark and plain, with the darkness of the trees utterly standing out (flat-like.) I think that this flattening effect was caused by the snowy blurring of the background through the woods. It was snowing heavy fluffy flurries that day (I had a plastic bag over the camera,) and I frankly wasn't sure the shot would even turn out. I was amazed at its clarity.

  10. Oh, if I know how to etch--this is one I'd do.....cut is already looks like it is. It's a fantastic photo--and that it turned out like this under those conditions.....wow....
